Tool to Help Organize the Chaos of Kickstarter

Hey, Tyler James from ComixTribe and editor of the Oxymoron anthologies here with something a little different for you...
See, when I was planning my first ever Kickstarter for the first Oxymoron anthology some 13 years ago now, I didn't know what I didn't know about comics crowdfunding. In those days, there were way more unsuccessful projects than successful ones and only a handful of decent articles, tips and resources on the subject. I pulled together the best of what was out there, "did my own research" as they say, said a small prayer, crossed my fingers and went live.
Well, fast forward 13 years and creators starting now have a completely different problem... when it comes to crowdfunding advice, it's EVERYWHERE! The challenge is sorting through it all, dealing with the overwhelm, and staying focused on the most important things.
To keep myself sane over the years across dozens of successful crowdfunding efforts, I've built out a suite of planning documents, checklists, cheat sheets and more that help me keep sane during each and every launch... and this month, I've put them all into a BEAUTIFUL planner for all the writers, artists, publishers and dreams out there.
I realize that most of our ComixTribe backers are fans of comics and not necessarily creators themselves... but I also know that so many comic fans also have dreams of launching their own books someday or area already out there in those indie comics trenches and are always looking to level up their campaigns. This new planner can definitely help!
There's just 33 hours left in this launch and there are already 530+ creators on board...

Oxy Update and FINAL DAY for SINK: City of Killers!

Friends, hope you're doing well! We wanted to swing back with a progress update, and ALSO make sure you knew that there was just a few hours left to support our latest campaign and score ANOTHER amazing hardcover from ComixTribe on Kickstarter.
First, we've worked through the bulk of the shipping project for OXYMORON: Killing Time. There are 27 backers who haven't completed surveys yet, but other than that, we're shipped! Click here to get those last surveys in!
We have been working through some customer service issues, tracking down a few errant packages, and such, but the lionshare of this project is complete and in the books.
Again, I hope it's not ever lost on you the impact your support for projects like this have on people.
One of the things we wanted to do with OXYMORON: Killing Time was not just showcase some incredible established talent, but also provide the opportunity for some aspiring creators as well... Phil for example. Fast forward to today, and Phil has lots of published work under his belt and he's regularly inspiring young writers to get in the game.
So on behalf of all of the great creators who participated in this project and who waited patiently for it to make it to print, THANK YOU!

Hey, friends and backers! ComixTribe HQ has been extra busy today, as we've not only just launch a brand new campaign, but we've also been working over the holiday weekend to get OXYMORON: KILLING TIME packages out the door!
We just dropped off the first load of packages to USPS this afternoon, and have UPS pick-up scheduled for this afternoon.
We're off to a strong start as we're nearly a third shipped already.
There are a lot of one-of-one custom orders, so we expect it'll take a week or two to get everything out the door, so we just want to thank you in advance for your patience as we get the rest of these amazing books out the door and into your hands.

Process Zines are In! Hardcovers Expected Soon!

Hey, friends! Just a quick update from the Oxymoron / ComixTribe crew, letting you know we're one step closer to starting fulfillment on this project. Yesterday, the campaign exclusive OXYMORON PROCESS ZINES arrived, and Tyler got right to work signing all 100 of these limited edition beauties!
We're happy with how this book came out, and it'll be a cool behind the scenes companion book for all the process junkies out there.
I also received word that our METALSMITH has finished the metal bookmarks for this launch and will be shipping them our way soon.
As for the big shipment of OXYMORON: KILLING TIME hardcovers, those are due to arrive at our warehouse any time starting next week, though when exactly the shipment will clear customs and get checked in is always a little TDB on international shipments. But we're getting CLOSE!
We just locked shipping addresses for our backers... if for some reason, you need to change your shipping address, please shoot us a message and we'll get that updated.
Note, were up to 92% survey complete in Backerkit. However, that still leaves 34 backers who have to finish their surveys so we can send them their stuff!
